Market Strategy Manager

About The Position

The Strategy & Business Development team is responsible for articulating and testing the company’s strategy, contributing to and executing on our partner strategy, gathering & sharing internally market insights from partners and customers, aligning with Solutions and Products on the evolution of the portfolio while supporting the Business Units with go-to-market strategies in particular related to new products and solutions. 

Your prime focus will be to analyse identified growth markets, looking at leading stakeholders, revenue trends, business challenges, leading vendors, etc to support the Strategy & Business Development team in articulating a relevant strategy for Accedo in those new areas. You will interact with the Business Units, partners and prospects to gather insights & challenge your analysis. Finally, you will ensure the handover to such expertise towards Business Units & Global Marketing to enable them in the implementation of our Go-To-Market plans.

Since this role will be tightly linked to the Solution team and the Product team, you will ensure sharing market insights and providing guidance on the market potential for new solutions and products. You will be a key stakeholder for their roadmaps, always having a finger on the market pulse, supporting with definition of markets, partners, resellers and competition, to ensure a better offering. 

Finally, being part of the Strategy team, you are expected to support M&A discussions as well as identifying opportunities and suggesting different types of strategic partnerships for Accedo’s long term success.  

Objective of role: Define, lead and manage Accedo’s market analysis efforts in the identified key growth markets, including but not limited to:. 

  • identifying personas, trends and revenue opportunities 
  • work closely with Business Units, Solutions and Products to support their go-to-market strategies with market insights
  • engage with customers and partners to validate market potential 
  • support Business Units to define their own strategies to target chosen markets
  • You will support go to market activities with thought leadership and market knowledge.

In this role, you are expected to independently initiate and drive key initiatives within your area of responsibility. You are expected to create an internal network where you leverage the Accedo expertise in relevant areas.
