Accedo, Cleeng, Brightcove and CYBEROBICS® Bring Expert Fitness Trainers Home

Today sees the launch of a fitness video on demand (VOD) service called CYBEROBICS®.

We are proud to announce that CYBEROBICS®  a subsidiary of the German provider of fitness facilities McFIT Global Group GmbH, has chosen OTT Flow, our fast to market and quick to monetize OTT solution, to power it’s direct-to-consumer fitness video on demand (VOD) service.

CYBEROBICS® already enjoys considerable success with fitness videos on Sky Germany’s Roku box and in McFIT and John Reed gyms across Europe. The launch of the new OTT video service is in response to a growing demand for personal fitness trackers and choice of content by an increasingly mobile and connected consumer.

CYBEROBICS® selected OTT Flow for its ability to reduce the complexity of delivering a high-quality OTT service across multiple devices while accelerating the time to market.

Oliver Schulokat, Managing Director of CYBEROBICs®, said: “We have been extremely pleased with the response to our videos on Roku. It became clear that there is a consumer appetite for this type of content and we were, therefore, keen to launch our own VOD service. OTT Flow combines the expertise of Accedo, Brightcove, and Cleeng into one cost-effective and rapidly deployable turnkey solution, enabling us to launch a high-quality video service across platforms in record time.”.

CYBEROBICS® will launch initially in Germany and the USA, with further expansion across Europe anticipated later in the year.
